Macro Review

I'm going to review my macros.

This is my average week:

Monday - Crossfit and Boxing
Tuesday - Crossfit and Low Intensity Cardio
Wednesday - Spin class
Thursday - Crossfit and Boxing
Friday - Crossfit
Saturday - Crossfit and 3 Mile Run
Sunday - Rest

Sometimes I will have two rest days.

I'm 5ft 9inch (69 inches) and 174 lbs (79kg)
39 year old male.
Tanita BF% is showing between 15.9 and 18% (depending on time of day)

I'm interested in comparing my current calories level with what others come up with for me based on the following actives.

For benefit of doubt - I'm looking to cut at 1 or 2 lbs a week.

with that activity level I would suggest about 2100-2200 calories a day for TDEE. and a macro split of 40c 40p 20f

It amazes me how people just arbitrarily pull stuff out of their butt.

OP, please see this discussion for some more detail as this @Chrisparadise consistently spits out nonsense and miss-information.

But in a nutshell, you are asking about a macro review and then asking about losing weight. The two are mutually exclusive for all intense purposes. If you are 174lbs and the bodyfat% you state, then you need to be conservative with your deficit and try to stick to around .5-1% bodyweight max loss weekly (probably on the lower side since you don't have a lot of fat to lose). If this was actually a macro review question (thus you are looking to optimize body composition and health), then calories aside (as you should know how many calories it takes to lose weight for you...but if you don't then post back a follow up question on that), then the links I provided in the other thread link to Eric Helms on the matter (this is da man on all things protein who has science, practice, research, and degrees behind him).
