Dairy Free Yorkshire Pudding

Has anyone had success substituting almond milk for dairy milk in yorkshire pudding?
I found a recipe off of a Paleo blog that uses almond milk but uses arrowroot starch instead of regular flour (because paleo).
I have arrowroot starch because I have baked gluten free for a coworker with Celiacs. But with yorkshire pudding, I'd like to use regular flour (no gluten allergy this time).
Beyond that one recipe, most of the dairy free recipes have soy milk. And almond milk is preferred.
Thanks!

Almond milk is a lot thinner in consistency than soya but it may be fine. I make vegan Yorkshire with a soya light milk (obviously eggs are replaced as well) the best thing is to just give it a go if it fails you've just wasted a bit of flour and milk0
