TDEE and exercise tracking

I recently switched to the TDEE-20% method about a week or so ago and decided to stop tracking my workouts and steps through MFP so I didn't have to constantly do math with my macros and calories when trying to figure out what I have left for the day.

Just wondering how others handle tracking exercise with the TDEE method and can anyone think of any reason I am going to be kicking myself later for any reason not having that data?

I like to keep track of how much time I spend exercising, so I still log it in MFP but change the calories burned to 1 calorie per session. That way, the exercise burn does not change my allotted calories in MFP (except for the one calorie, or two if I do a couple of sessions per day) and I can still track the time.

I also like to track my exercise but not subtract it from my eating calories. So I write my exercise in the exercise notes section of MFP instead. Once a week or so I transfer (manually) my MFP data to an excel spreadsheet so I can do a monthly overview of my cals, cardio, sugar and protein. I find it helps to compare months and see how I go, so I can adjust my calorie goals.

Great idea on using the notes section. I kinda can look back and track most exercise from my calendar for classes, and also I do have a fitbit. I could potentially track exercise there if I wanted, since I unlinked MFP and fitbit.

I just discovered a site where you can export your MFP data to .csv. How excited are you? It's ok, I got super excited too.
