Should I maintain my weight or lose?

At the beginning of summer ( June) I was 5'8 and 119 pounds. I've been dealing with horribly bad episodes of binging this summer like 4000/5000 kcal +, and now in september, I weigh 127 pounds. I've put on about 8 pounds this summer, which seems like so much, but according to my BMI i'm at a healthy weight for my height ( 19.2) Despite this, because of my binging, i managed to lose most of my abs definition, and i have some rolls when I bend over. Should I try to lose some of the weight that I gained, or maintain since my BMI is healthy? Thanks

oh and I do light swimming twice a week, and try to get to the gym twice a week as well for cardio and weights.

This is a personal choice you need to make. I would be a little more concerned with my eating issues than rather you should lose weight or not.

I agree with lifting. Concentrate more on the eating issues and your body will decide what is a good weight for you. I'm also 5'2 and I avg. 130 pounds with the occasional 128 or 129. At one point I dropped to 125 and people started commenting that I was far too thin and they were right. I wasn't eating nearly enough and working out a lot because I would do my standard run, bike or workout at the gym and on top of that was remodeling my house. Once I got my food back on track I looked and felt healthier.
