i know an hrm would be more accurate but since i don't have one.....i have a question, on my treadmill it says 30 minutes in at 2.5 speed that i burned 144 calories but when i enter it on mfp it says i burned 123 which do you think would be more accurate and why is there such a huge difference?
/edit actually this could have probably went into the nutrition category, i don't know

Not enough difference to worry about. If it were me - I would use the lesser of the two :-)0

What 4lafz said.
If you are running, 1 mi x 100 = calories burned is actually a pretty good formula. It doesn't work so well if you are walking though.0
