Past the initial hurdle

I have been doing this for 5 weeks now and have lost my first 10+ pounds and feel pretty darn proud of it! I started at 231 and my goal is below 150 - ultimate is 130, but I don't know how I will feel at that stage. My husband and I have been doing this together, but I am looking for other people that I can look to for support and motivation when I feel like cheating or quitting or struggling in general. I have really started to enjoy the structure of planning meals each week and what food I am going to eat each day :)

  • That is an awesome start! You go girl! I am like you, I started around 210 and I want to get down to 150-160 for my first goal. I am always here for some support and help is needed. Always love swapping workout and food ideas! Add me if you like (and that goes for anyone else too :happy: )

    That's brilliant, well done!
    I have less to lose, but have just reached my first 10lb too, and like you, my husband is using MFP and losing weight alongside me. I think it definitely helps if both of you are in, as then you can share healthy meals and one is less likely to tempt the other with treats/unhealthy meals. I'm really enjoying it too.
