Is there a way to estimate measurements after weight loss?

I'm 5'6" and my goal weight is 130 lbs.
I'm currently 265 lbs and my measurements are 44-42-56.
Is there any way to guess what your measurements will be at a smaller size?

Not really, because every person has different body composition and shape. I mean, you could always talk to someone who is your height and at your goal weight with a similar shape, but even then, it's just going to be a rough estimate (emphasis on rough). Is there a reason you need to know your future measurements now?0

You're just going to have to wait and see. Your body will choose which order to take the fat off of your body, so some areas will show a bigger loss than others. For example, I lost a lot of weight but my body stores fat around my stomach so I still have a pretty big waist measurement for my height and weight. But I did notice my face isn't as round, I have a neck again, and my pants and shirts are slightly more loose than they used to be.0

I don't really need to know, just curious. I've been wondering if my body is even able to get into the sizes I want to, but that's just anxiety from always being too big for things.0

There is no way to predict your future measurements
But, you should be doing a Fit Test and take new measurements every few weeks. This will help you see your progress, keep you motivated, and show you where you need to make adjustments in your program. You should not be looking to the scale for your progress. Why not? Because the scale cannot show progress in individual parts of your body.
I believe in you. You will reach your goal.

Somebody posted a website in which you put your measurements in and it would represent you at different weights. I think I have that correct. You could alter the cartoon you slightly with different hair colour, clothing etc.
Anyone have the link?0 -
I found it, http://www.modelmydiet.com/0

I'm going to go against the general consensus here and say yes, you can estimate measurements after weight loss. Go to mybodygallery.com and have a look at the women who weigh 130 pounds. I think some have measurements listed, but my Internet is too slow for the site to load. You can also ask women who have lost weight who have kept measurements to give the numbers, and you can plug in your numbers to see how they might be if your measurement curve is shaped the same as theirs.0
