What's more beneficial?

An hour in the gym on e bike, treadmill, rower and cross trainer, or an hours hard labour splitting wood for winter? I need to do both ( well the latter more so), and wondered which would be more beneficial to me I mean, not end result ie split wood lol

I kinda enjoy them both, that's the problem lol

I love going to the gym but I'm also a very hands on love doing bits about the house kind of girl as well, thing is I don't really have time this afternoon for both - or I would

To be honest, i would rather do the Wood Splitting!
The Gym is very boring to me.

Depends what benefits are important to you. When splitting wood you are burning calories *and* doing something productive at the same time. As time is something I never seem to have enough of, splitting wood would be the most beneficial use of it for me.

Splitting wood of course. Think of it as your outdoor gym.

i do not like the bike in the gym b/c it makes me have a backache. i like to ride out on the open road on my "real" bike.

the treadmill is fantastic. you can walk slowly at a very high incline, or run, or walk swiftly at a lower incline. it can be changed-up alot and is one of my favorites in the gym.

cross trainer - have no experience

splitting wood - although i have no experience, i have watched people doing it and WOW that looks like an amazingly difficult and beneficial work-out AND you get firewood to boot!
