Hi All!
I'm working on being healthier and toning up. On the fitness front, I'm riding the bike a few times a week and doing some Barre3. I need food help. Yes, I know…eat whole foods and cut things out. Awesome. Thanks, buddy! I'm in grad school, I have a 3 year old, I've moved 2x in the last year, and I'm moving a third time overseas. I do not have time to put together (and sit and eat) 3 whole food meals a day. I've tried. It is not sustainable for me. So, I've turned to smoothies. This has worked out for me pretty well. I've been getting loads of veggies and some protein. My usual is some coconut water, half a banana, handful of berries, 1 TBSP real peanut butter, handfuls of greens, flax seed or chia, and maybe a scoop of cocoa powder.
My problem is that I'm moving overseas in a month and will not have access to good fresh veggies for a good 5 months out of the year due to the climate with the exception of root veggies. The remaining 7 months will be better, so that's good.
So, I'm looking at meal replacements…both to help with time and to help with nutrition and cravings.
I do not want any kind of booster or accelerant (my heart likes to pitter patter a little too fast sometimes, and accelerants really exacerbate the problem).
So, I'm looking for rec's for MRPs with quality ingredients. Also, I'll have access to milk, but not almond milk, hemp milk, coconut water, etc. for mixing.
Thanks!!
