So I normally don't go "walking" in the winter, but have found myself out this year when its been high 20's and up. Well today its single digits. Is that cold of weather bad for your lungs or your body while exercising?

If you're worried about the cold air affecting your lungs, wear something over your mouth/nose like a scarf or bandana.0

No. Your body actually burns extra calories trying to keep you warm.0

As long as you keep your core, hands, feet, & head comfortably warm I wouldn't worry about it.
It's also a good idea to make sure you 'warm up/stretch' before you start your walks on the colder days so you don't get injured.
Happy trails and happy new year!0
