Back again!

I am back again from almost a year without keeping track. I really like this site, I can track everything I eat plus exercise. One question, though. When I use my treadmill, it records more calories burned than selecting from the exercise list. Which one do I go by? Also, should I use all calories including those earned by my exercise? Thanks for the help!!

I find the MFP calories burned to be more accurate.0

I think MFP is a little more accurate as it takes into account your weight(different weights burn different amounts of calories). And as far as eating your calories...YES. You should be eating what you burn or else you end up with a defficet. Personally, it's nice to be under my calories, but you don't want to be too far under or you'll sabotage your weight loss.
Welcome back! Here's to a great year! :drinker:0 -
I think the MFP estimate is probably more accurate. MFP says I burn 735 cal from an hour on my elliptical, and the elliptical computer says I burned over 1300 cal in that hour. I think that'd just be too good to be true!0
