Hi,
I have heard great things about MFP. I decided to give it a go. I am starting over for the 2,000th time. I just want to eat healthy, lose weight, and feel fit. I could write a book on all I KNOW about doing this, but putting it to action is much harder....isn't it. I stay at home with my children. I have 4 children ranging from almost 1 to 7.5 years old. My older 2 are in school. My 2nd middle is in preschool in the mornings. Can't believe my baby is almost 1.
I will learn to navigate this site as I use it more. I just want to start tracking as best I can. I would love some friends who are or have been in the same boat as me.
I live in a tiny town in the middle of no where, not much access to things. The closest WalMart is over 318 miles away....so I have to make due with what I have here. We have a gym, but it is small and TOO expensive....so at home it is for me.
Thanks!

Welcome! I have 4 kids as well (though mine are 21, 18, 14 and 3). The first thing I suggest doing is finding out what your calorie intake should be (here's a great site: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ ) Be sure and reevaluate every 5 pounds you lose. Second the best purchase you can make is to get a food scale and weigh everything (this will give you the most accurate calorie count). You don't need to join a gym, there are tons of things that you can do at home, including walking. Feel free to add me as a friend if you wish.0
