What if I want to go turkey, cheese, turkey?
Really? Kind of a smarta$$
Yeah? I mean... this whole thread is a joke, right?
Then move on and don't stop to be rude..
You must be so much fun at parties...
As a matter of fact I am very fun at parties... I know how to treat people well with respect.. What does that have to do with this recipe???0 -
This sounds like it could use a tablespoon of salt. To bring out the full flavor of the dish.
maybe some peas or green beans as well?0 -
I'm lost...can you explain it in a simpler way?0
-
I tried the recipe and it was great. I made a few changes. I substituted the bread with a tortilla for a tex mex feel and then I substituted the turkey with beans, still thinly sliced (took forever!) and then I substituted the cheese with sour cream, guac, and cheese. Tastes amazing. Thanks for the fun recipe!0

If I add peas in place of the turkey, would that make it vegetarian?
 so much.... so much0 -

This would be perfect if it was paired with French Onion Soup.
If only I had a recipe for that...0 -

I think a side of vegetarian mac and cheese would really bring out the dish.0 -

...just spit water all over my monitor.0 -
This sandwich is even BETTER when served with a side tbsp of salt for dipping! It brings out the flavor of the cheese.0

Actually, I suggest she stop EATING what those recipes make.0 -
Maybe instead of making fun of her, someone could, I dunno, actually try to be helpful...?
OP I'm gonna send you a direct message.0 -

Well, I did. In one of her other 'recipe' threads, but just so it doesn't seem like everyone is ganging up on her here...
Normally, I'd say if someone is healthy don't worry about your sodium intake but after seeing your 'recipes' and checking your food diary. It's scary because, lady, you are a heart attack or a stroke waiting to happen.
You have a day of 11,000 PLUS mg of sodium. A few days earlier it was 5000+.... You have some low days but MOST are well over 3000. You'll kill yourself eating like that long term.
Seriously, you need to lay off all that processed food. If it comes in a can it's high in sodium. Also, a TABLESPOON should never be used as a measurement for salt in a single serving recipe. 1 Tablespoon doesn't 'enhance' anything, it over powers it.0 -

I don't think she is, going by some of her other threads/posts. She mentions eating these things in the 'What's for Supper?' thread without posting the recipes.
I do believe she's someone who just doesn't know how to cook... maybe?0 -
I made this the other night, except I substituted the bottom slice of bread with a pizza crust; subbed the turkey out with pizza sauce and crumbled italian sausage; and subbed the kraft cheese with a mix of mozzarella, feta, and gorgonzola.
I also left off the top slice of bread to save carbs and baked it in the oven at 450 for a few minutes because I like my turkey sandwiches warm.0 -

I think it has to do with people making jokes, and it going over your head and calling people rude.0 -
Kraft singles are not cheese. Whew! There. I said it.

One year when my mom was teaching third grade, they got a new third grade teacher for the other class. She was young and had a great education - a real hot shot. My mom adored her but enjoyed giving her a hard time, too.
Especially when the new teacher came running into my mom's room during the back-to-school party to ask how to make a root beer float.
Applause for the story-telling skills. You had me gripped, enticed, and brought it to a humorous conclusion in less than three lines. Brilliant! :flowerforyou:
Are you a writer? Serious question.0 -

You just made me laugh out loud at my desk that the office went quiet for a second. Bravo!0
