IIFYM & REVERSE DIETING HELP

Hey guys, I have been doing P90X3 for the past 3 months eating at under 1500 calories (inconsistently but still losing fat) monday the 29th is my last day and also the day university starts back, so on Tuesday the 30th i'll be back to my former routine of 2.5 hour Mixed martial arts sessions 3 days a week, and resistance/strength training 2 days a week. i plan to increase my calorie intake and macros to 1700 (my maintenance) or higher as i will definitely need more energy. i was hoping someone could advice me on whether to just jumping with both feet at the start of my week, or do some of reverse dieting, as i don't want to start my sessions low on energy and strength.
Thanks in advance

its only about 200 cals extra, i say jump right in and enjoy the extra food!0

I tried both and always reverse my way out of a cut towards maintenance (however i usually have more than 200 cals deficit!).
I increase about 100 calories every week when the deficit is still big and eventually shift to 2 / 3 weeks when getting closer to maintenance.0 -
If you're cautious, try just adding in 100 calories a week..0
