Fitness Routine based on DNA?

Just read this article and wonder if it would truly be beneficial/accurate....

I personally find it very difficult to lose weight while weighing & tracking my food (at 1400 - 1600 calories) and working out 30 - 60 minutes a day, 5 - 6 days a week (JM videos and cardio). I know I should lift heavy but don't have the access to the proper equipment so I do more body weight exercises and HIIT stuff at home. Just wondering what my DNA could possibly tell me.
