This morning I noticed the scale was up and have determined it is due to water retention from eating a lot of sodium lately. I want to know for myself how much sodium would not cause water retention. Perhaps I can change my daily sodium goal so as not to have my weight readings be affected by excessive sodium intake. Thanks!

There really isnt a certain number that causes water retentionn its more a of a ratio thing, higher levels of sodium cause higher levels of water retention. Just keep your levels at or below the recommended levels are you shouldnt have a problem.0

You have to practice trial and error in order to find the appropriate sodium level for yourself because the amount varies from person to person. Give yourself about 2-3 days between each adjustment to see results.0
