Which excercises for arms to perform plank better?

When I'm planking, I can't keep it up after a while. This is not because my abs can't take it anymore, but because my arms get so tired of holding myself up. Which excercises/muscles can you do/train best to train to keep a plank up longer?

You know you can plank from your elbows too. I actually think the elbow plank is more effective.
^^ I completely agree with this one.
I have never done anything but elbow planks and I definitely feel it the next day.0 -

Planks from your elbows are very effective and are a good starting point if you can't effectively do other planks. Set small goals with the plank. Do like 2 to 3 sets at 20-secs and when you can do that then do 30-secs, then 40-sec's and so on.
An effective training program should involve resistance training for upper and lower body muscle groups, make sure you find something effective whether it is Starting STrength, StrongLifts, New Rules, etc.0 -
If your arms are getting tired something is not right.0
