Of these three vehicles, which one would you choose and why? Assume they are all equal as far as "features" such as moon roof, nav system, AWD....

Honda CRV
Subaru Forester
GMC Terrain

(other comparable vehicles are not part of this equation, yo. Leave your Acuras and Toyotas out it! LOL)

*ETA: this car will only be kept 2 years. B/c I'm finagling something.

GMC Terrain based on prettiness only.

I'd go forrester for being longer lasting. The CRV holds on to resell value pretty well, too.. but I've had friends with subaru rides that they've been given by their parents... driven.. and passed on to their kids.

well, based on the ETA: I'd go CRV.

All 3 are good but I am partial to GMC, we have owned 2 GMC Envoy and they have been very reliable and great drivers... The Envoy was replaced in 2009 by the Terrain and Arcadia so I have to think these picked up right where the Envoy left off....

I like the look of the CRV, but the older model. I don't know what year you're looking at. It seems to have a little better gas mileage, but I guess it depends on how much room you need inside. Terrain would be my second pick. I've just never liked the Forester for some reason. I've never owned any of these.

I need room for 2 dogs in the back, 2 kids in the back seat, and two adults up front, plus room for two cases of beer at all times....

GMC...because 'Murica (and yes, I know, most of the parts are made in Japan, but still...'Murica!!)

ETA: I also like the look of the GMC over the other two choices.

The CRV's newer model seems smaller on the inside than the older ones, but that's just looking from the outside in. You want the one that's going to make you happy and that you'll enjoy driving for the next few years.

Subaru, mine is invincible. Snow and ice might as well be non existent. Resell value after two years will be comparable to the Honda, and more than the GMC.

    Just get the Subaru!

Terrain. It is as close to a truck as possible of the three. I am an outdoors type and need it.
