A couple of weeks ago, I made some "cheesesteak" caps that were really good! I broiled the bottom side of the cap for five minutes, then flipped them over, sauteed some deli roast beef, onions, garlic, and green pepper in a little bit of oil, then stuffed them into the cap, threw on a thin slice of cheese(I used colby jack, but I recommend provolone), then threw it back in to broil until the cheese was melted. Really easy and delicious! I also made an "aioli" to top it with!0

I roast them for about 10 minutes with a little olive oil, then top like a pizza, put them back in the oven to get the cheese melted and they are done. One of my go to meals.0

marinated in a mixture of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and some garlic for a while and then roasted or grilled ...
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm used in sandwiches or just eaten with mashed potatoes & salads on the side.. i really like to top them with avocado slices too
actually they would be so good over rice too or pasta
you can also use them to make little pizzas ..just use them like your crust0 -
I just added 3 cloves of minced garlic, a big dollop of white miso and a sliced portobello to my 1/2 cup(measured it dry) of rice during the last 15 minutes cooking last night. It was very tasty!0
