Hungry with very little calories left

Hi everyone!

So I have kind of eaten most of my calories for the day (I didn't plan out the day because I was a little busy) but there's still dinner left tonight...:-/
(it's TOM's fault I'm still hungry!)

I honestly don't want to go over my mark. I've exercised a bit more and now I have about 200 calories earned.

What can one eat for 200 calories? I've already hit all my macros but I can't really go to bed without dinner. :(

if you have a 1/2 hour for exercise you can eat a normal dinner and not worry about it. either way I wouldn't stress about it too much. even if you go over by a few hundred calories you will be fine. If you are set for 1 calorie a week loss, that is a 500 calorie per day deficit built right in. So unless you are more than 500 calories over you will still be in weight loss range.

just get all the veggies in the house you got and mix them with a couple of egg whites for a nice egg white omelette. I have not yet made it to come in over 200 cals.

You could also run around a bit more and earn some more calories.
Or, what I usually do, cut yourself some slack at TOM and don't worry too much if you go over a bit. Assuming you are on losing 1lb a week you would have to eat 3500 cals over to ruin your weeks work

For a low cal dinner, lots of veggies (either a salad or roasted, you can even roast frozen veggies with some seasonings - it's surprisingly good!), and some sort of protein - half a chicken breast, an egg or two, some beans/lentils.

For something vaguely filling, it'd probably be more comfortable to give yourself an extra 100-200 cals freedom (first few days of TOM you actually burn 300ish more per day anyway, though in the following days you burn slightly fewer so it does even out over the month), so don't sweat having a 300-400 cal dinner so you don't go to bed hungry.

!!?!?!?! Okay maybe I'm weird but as simple as this is...it sounds D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!

This is what worries me because I don't have too much to lose so I've set it to 0.5lb a week.

So my deficit is quite small which is why I'd prefer not going over. :)

your deficit is still 1750 calories. Unless you were planning to eat a large pizza for dinner you are still not going to reach that

I clicked this thread without knowing it was a menses-related problem, so prepare yourselves ladies... man talking

I presume due to hormonal changes and the state your body is in during the time leading up to and during, it requires a slight amount more calories during that time-of-the-month
not a whole hell of a lot, but some, and there's no accounting for how many extra you may actually need or have an allowance for during this time

if it was me, I would allow myself no more calories than my maintenance for the week or two in question

it gives you extra calories (if you want them, if you don't that's fine) and it won't set your progress back

Sorry about that. I didn't include it because it's not really related to the main question which is 200 calorie food ideas. :) i just included it as the explanation why I'm hungry and why I ate all my calories so early

no, it's OK. I'm a grown man I can handle it, lol

I just felt perhaps what I was saying might sound stupid, but now I see I basically gave the same advice as someone else with some added extras

as for 200 calorie meals, there ain't much. 200 calories is a snack to me
