Am I now on 3 diet plans simultaneously?

I knew I was already on two: MFP and WW, but my new Fitbit came this morning, I've set it all up and set the goals on the calorie counter. This gives me a deficit of 750 cals a day, which is lower than MFP

Have I just gone and joined another diet plan inadvertently? I don't mind but 3 at once goodness me lol

It automatically gives you a deficit of 750 calories? My Fitbit One only gives me a deficit if I reach a certain amount of steps and floors walked.

No I set the deficit, I thought it'd match MFP but it doesn't by about 150 cals ????, the 500 and 250 goals just looked to far away, this one reckons by this time next year

LOL! Poor you! I hope you just keep doing what you're doing if it's working for you (In the immortal words of Dorie the fish 'Keep Swimming'). I have a Jawbone Up fitness tracker that has me on a diet plan, along with MFP... so I guess I'm on two! We should start a club. :flowerforyou:

Oh, I didn't have an option to set a deficit. Mine just follows MFP and takes it's info from there.

I have personally disregarded all calculators, and pre-defined caloric and macronutrient values in favour of using this excellent way of calculating things by Emma-Leigh of BB.com

I've been using the values I've gotten from that thread for almost 3 years now, and besides a bit of tweaking here and there it has given me the most realistic values to work towards.

Maybe they mean in the meal plan section, you can set it as easier, medium. kinda hard, harder. 750 deficit is 'kinda hard' for me at least. I have it set as 'easier' but I don't follow it, it's just another quick way to see if you are eating less than you burn.
