Those last two pounds!

My goal was to get down from 151 to 140 and I have been hovering around 142 for a couple of weeks. I was at 141.5 two Fridays ago and then went away for the weekend where there was much drinking so put on water weight and it's taken me until now to get back to 142.2.

I want to just get those last two pounds off! I am doing a deficit of about 400-500 calories by eating 1600 a day and exercising pretty hard. Should I be patient? Or double down and push through by dropping a couple hundred calories a day?

Once I get to my target weight I intend to go back to 2000 a day and continue exercising as normal (the goal is to build strength and muscle) and not worry about my weight for a while, just the measuring tape.

But why is it so hard to get those last two pounds?!

This is probably not a great idea. I'd suggest keep working though it and those 2 pounds will come off - it may take a few weeks though.

Since you didn't have much to lose, it's always harder.
