In need of motivation...

Hi :) my name's Zoë and I'm 18 years old, weighing roughly 130lbs which is considered underweight as it is so I'm not looking to lose anything BUT I need to eat healthy!

I've never been particularly bad but yet my cholesterol is too high (due to medication) but even though I have medical reasons to eat well I keep slipping and binging... need motivation otherwise I'm going to seriously mess up my health! I still exercise but with recent issues with my heart it means I have to take it easy so everything is coming down purely to my diet now..

Feel free to message me or add me as a friend :)

    But whatever you are here.

I recommend taking a nutrition class in high school. Then again if I took that then you would not be getting my answer because I would not of used this.

I'm not in school anymore, I understand the nutritional elements I need and what I should reduce etc. it's just trying to keep to it when there is so many temptations which wont help me in the long run

If your health is not enough motivation then I don't see how anyone here is going to make you care about it.

Eating healthy is about the choices you make.
Choices you make are all within your control.
There is no magic that anyone can do to make you take control of your choices.

It was at first but after months of it getting worse you start to lose it

I think its great you want to eat healthier. I wish I'd done it sooner and taken it seriously when I was your age.

Asking random strangers online though is probably not the place to go. Googling things on the internet will only give you a lot of junk and factless statements from people who have no scientific proof to back them up. Unless you know how to read scientific journal articles on google scholar, the internet is a bad place to find information on healthy eating.

Are you attending college/university where you could take a course on nutrition?
Do you have a family doctor who could refer you to a nutritionist for an eating plan?
I highly recommend one of these two routes to get the real facts about food and nutrition. :)

So you think you are starting to quit. You have two pounds on your ticker. What more do you want to accomplish. Your not happy. Binge eating is not done by people just loving to eat food. There something deeper than that.
  • Just keep chipping at the bit!! You can do it! I believe in you! :)
My diet consists of a bunch of Veggies and Protein Bars LOL
