Hi, everyone!
My name is Courtney and I am new to this website. I have been trying to lose weight pretty much all my life. I was a fat child, a fat teen and now a fat adult. I have been trying to change my lifestyle for some time now, but have just now discovered the great website. I set the goal for myself to begin eating a more balanced diet several months ago, but was having a difficult really getting that healthy balance. I decided to begin keeping a food and exercise journal, so that I can closely monitor my intake and output, etc. Unfortunately, I don't think I was doing so as accurately as possible with the pen and paper method. Frustrated with yet another week of not getting the results I had hoped for, I decided to look online for a solution to help me journal well. I was thrilled when I found this site. It is so great and I still cannot believe that it is free!!
My highest weight was 270 pounds and I am now down to 260. I have about 100 pounds to go in order to reach my personal goal. I look forward to discovering what all this site has to offer as well as getting to know some of you out there!
