..Im new to My Fitness Pal and am just playing around with it at the minute (more to distract mysefl from my kitchen and its contents!)

I've never really tried to diet before- although I have needed to but just haven't had the motivation and there has always been something happening which has meant my sitting up in the middle of the night eating rubbish!. Its been a few years now of not being happy with how I look and feel, hating shopping and turning into a bit of a recluse as I cant find clothes to fit for when I go out - isnt it horrible how muich your weight and shape can affect your mood!!

Anyway, onto more positive thoughts- this is the year I will finally shift my weight and pay myself a bit of pampering attention.

Any suggestions to help or encouragement would be gatefully recieved. I've seen some people have rewards for when they reach certain weights which looks like a great idea.
