I thought this was really great and wanted to share with everyone:

http://www.mypyramid.gov/mypyramid/index.aspx

The USDA web site has a nutrition tool that allows you to enter your age, sex, and activity level to get the amount you need from each group. Charts at mypyramid.gov also show you serving sizes for meeting these goals.

There is a ton of information and other tools to use, check it out.

They also have a part of their site where you can track food intake to see what you are getting nutrition wise. We had to use it for a project in one of my classes last semester. It's not nearly as easy to use as MFP, though. Not nearly enough stuff in the database and I couldn't figure out how to add my own stuff. But if you can stand the struggle to put your info in there for a day, the report is great for telling you how close you are to your ranges of things that aren't usually listed in MFP due to the limitations of user entered foods from meager food labels, like Potassium, Iron, Calcium, etc.
