Just a quick questions about tracking calories burned.

Do any of you take into concideration the calories you burn, say at work through out the day....?

I have heard of some people counting them, because really they are calories being taken off, and i have heard of others not counting them because its just a natural thing.

what are your thoughts ?

That sort of thing is taken into account when you set up your MFP profile - Remember selecting Sedentary/Lightly Active/Active? You don't need to take into account regular daily activities. HOWEVER, if you do more than you would normally, then that SHOULD be taken into account.

Now, having said that, I have my activity level set at Sedentary but have a fitness tracker that automatically adjusts my calories for the day on MFP if I'm more active than normal.

depends what you do at your work and what activity you have set yourself at with MFP.

Stick to what allowance MFP has set you for and eat back half your exercise calories.

You could work out your TDEE (there are online calculators) and eat at 15 - 20% less than that depending on how much you want/need to lose.
e.g my TDEE is 2100 and right now I'm at goal so I eat up to that amount to maintain. I'm very active.
If I wanted to lose weight I'd eat up to 10 - 20% less = so anywhere from 1680-1890 cals a day and wouldn't eat any exercise cals back.

when you follow the TDEE method you don't eat exercise calories back.
