Most people are lucky they get to work a normal day or not, and focus on their goals.. well I work 3rd shift... I go to work at 8 adn leave work at 730 or so... I usually go home and sleep from 9am til 3 pm , have a snack, then eat dinner with my family and then eat at about 2-230 in the am... now I try to exercise when I get up but as this is a weird schedule for my body whats the best way and nutritionally to achieve my weight loss goals... just looking for suggestions...

Same issue here! Not sure how to deal with it. I've gained so much weight working this crazy 7p-7a schedule! I feel for ya!

My boyfriend is a police officer and works many shifts like that as well. He usually goes straight to the gym once he gets off in the morning then comes home to sleep. His workouts are only about 45 mins long and he finds that it helps him fall asleep better. You just have to get into a routine. Once you do it for a few weeks your body will be use to it.

When ever you will exercise is the best time to do it. I work out any time I can fit it in if I'm up to it. Home over break, I had to wait for my fam to go to bed to have space to workout- 4 teenage bros later, I worked out at 5 am or 2 am, depending. When you wake up grab a piece of fruit and go for a walk while you eat it-- or really anything you will stick with.
