Continuing to lose during surgical recovery

Well this is my second attempt at MFP. The first time I lost almost 50 lbs, and have gained back 30 of it just due to not pushing hard like I was. I have started again and feel pretty good about things. However, I'm going to be having abdominal surgery next week which means I'm unable to exercise other than walking for the 6 weeks after that. My main goal right now is to lose by just a simple calorie deficeit, but wondering if anyone has any supportive ideas or tips to help keep up the weight loss even with having to be mostly sedentary post op?
