110, 120 or 130? Every label is different.. I mean, a chicken is a chicken, right?

I go by weight, and generally white or dark meat. If I'm eating cooked chicken breast, I weigh it in grams, then look up "Chicken - Breast, meat only, cooked, roasted" (search chicken breast and you'll get there), an entry with no asterisk next to it, choose the grams measurement from the drop down menu and enter the number from my food scale. The no asterisk entries are the most accurate, and a food scale helps ya get things down to the gram.

Potatoes, melons, grapes, apples, fish, meats - all in there, and I find those no asterisk entries for the best info.

Thanks, I should add 4oz of boneless, skinless chicken.

Did you weigh it before you cooked it or after you cooked it? ;-)

    140 --- (close enough)

Well, the discrepancy could also be due to the different things that the chicken is injected with. Most store-bought birds (whole or pieces) are injected with some solution in a process known as 'plumping'. For more info on what you are eating, see the Wiki page on plumping: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plumping

depending on the brand the calories can vary because the chicken is injected with fillers to plump up the raw meat.

best way to use the mfp database is to look for the entries without the asterisks, as mentioned. those entries come straight from the usda database and are the most accurate ones in terms of correct information. hope that helps!
