So, my wife and I are out to get a beer and something to eat so we go to a local hangout. the waitress is nice and has some tats that i find interesting. we start talking and we tell her we are dieting and she says "you should try this app called…" you guessed it, my fitness pal. small world out there. just thought it was kinda cool.

    Someone started a thread a while back asking for recommendations for a hotel in Vegas. I was surfing MFP in my lunch break at work and posted my recent experience and gave some hints.

    My phone rings in my office. It's my workmate from 5 offices down (all of about 15 metres away). She had started the thread I'd just answered and had recognised my story. We went to lunch and talked Vegas.

    At my last job my manager asked me (jokingly) to stop telling customers about MFP because then they'd find out how many calories were in our dishes :laugh: I got nine different regulars to sign up for this site in less than a week.
