I'm looking at treadmills and one review says I need a surge supposser....do all treadmills need this?

    i own a treadmill and have no idea what that is so i guess it may not be absolutely necessary lol we just used whatever came in the box ;) but i'm curious ...what is it?

    We don't have ours plugged into one, but it's probably not a bad idea. Lightning struck our house three years ago and took out our garage door opener! Better safe than have to buy a new treadmill.

    Surge protector? They're always a good idea for something expensive that uses electricity.

    I think you mean a surge protector, and it's not a bad idea to have one. I have one.
