Breast Cancer 3 Day

I decided that I would combine a couple of goals for 2011 into one and would get in shape while doing some good in the world... I recently registered for a Breast Cancer 3 day. It consists of walking 60 miles in 3 days with stops every two miles and then camping the two overnights. The training is fairly extensive-I'm going to do a 24 week program that involves only walking-if you do the recommended training from the website. I starting walking at least a mile a day about 9 days ago and am hoping that being registered for the event and having to fundraise will keep me motivated throughout the next few months.

    Good luck! I'm doing the Oxfam Trailwalker in April - 100kms (about 60 miles I think) within 48 hours.
    A great way to focus on an exercise goal while raising money :happy:
