Feeling discouraged

This week just hasn't been the best.
I developed a head cold and it's been really getting in the way of things. I missed a workout yesterday (I rarely miss workouts) and I made soup (sodium-heavy) to try and cope. Combining that with my being on my period and a lack of regularity, I weighed in at 114 lbs instead of 108 lbs (which I was less than a week ago).
It just feels like the weight is real even though I didn't eat over maintenance. I'm just feeling miserable about it. I want to break down and just start eating everything.
How do you get through hard times?

Perspective, and realizing that life ebbs, and flows. There are times when it seems like it's all against us. The only way we get anywhere though is to persist in what we're doing. Stay on the path, and all of those variables will change. Have faith in the method.
ETA: And realize that at your current weight, those fluctuations might seem more drastic than they are. If you're trying to lose, (which seems like it would verge on dangerous at this point.) your body is likely to resist. If you're trying to maintain, it's almost never a linear thing. The numbers shift in either direction on any given day.0 -
OP, if the photo in your avatar is you, then please don't lose any more weight.0

Though I am not a genetic girl, the one thing I have learnt over the years from doing support in LGBT groups, and having to find out about hormones and the likes is, when a woman goes through her period, for a lot of women they swell up bad, arms, legs, fingers, now fact that your quite thin, it probably not showing so much in ya physical appearance, but is in your weight.
Try not to stress out, try get plenty of rest and relax, and once your period finishes, you will most likely loose all that excess water and be back to normal.
It is perfectly normal, some women get it every month, some only get it once every now and then, and fact your maintaining your weight and checking it constantly is probably only reason you have noticed it.
