Meeting Calorie Goal But Having An Unbalanced Day?

I know it's probably bad for me and I'd be healthier if my day was balanced, but I still want an answer. What happens if I meet my calorie goal for the day but my carb/prot/fat pie chart is very unbalanced?

Nothing happens. The macros that MFP sets up are a suggestion, you can change them to fit more appropriately with your goals, training needs, and lifestyle. I use a 40c/30f/30p ratio because my workouts are heavy lifting and some cardio, and I need the higher protein for muscle repair. A distance athlete would have a higher carb ratio, and a competitive bodybuilder might have a lower carb ratio if they are cutting for a competition. You can also change them to reflect your eating style (low carb, etc) or just set them in a way that matches with how you normally eat if you don't like seeing them go into the red.

You can change your macro settings under the My Home tab, under Goals. This link has lots of information if you would like to know more about how to figure out your macros: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/819055-setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets
