Hi I know the feeling I'm 30 and the mom of 4! With kids you get so busy you forget to take time for yourself. Good luck buy your self a pair of jeans the size you wanna be and every week or so try them on and see how much easier they start to slide on0

Welcome Shannon! I'm in a similar boat. I'm 37, with a one year old and also live in DFW. For me, I have to have a goal or I won't be motivated. I signed up for a triathlon in April to give myself a goal to work towards and it has done great for me. I've been in the gym very consistenly since paying the entry fee and WILL be ready for the race in 14 weeks. What are you trying to accomplish? Lose weight? Build strength? Eat healthier? All of the above?0

I'm 35 and have 5 kids. I let myself go so bad after my kids that I now have about 150-165 lbs to lose. Since my goal is so big I've made mini goals to work toward so I don't get so frustrated. The first one was to see my first number change by the first of the year (about 15 lbs) and I'd buy a pretty new shirt as a reward. I met that one and moved on to the next goal which was 20 lbs and I'd do something for that. Then 50 is buying some jewelry that I've been wanting. 80 ( about half my total goal) is taking my family on our first family vacation to Disney world. 100 lbs hubby and I are getting a babysitter for the night and getting away for a bit. Then when I hit the ultimate goal hubby and I will have our own vacation somewhere to celebrate. Having these min goals helps me feel good about what I am accomplishing instead of looking at how far I still have to go and then giving up. Of course support and encouragement from everyone on here is a huge factor in accomplishing goals too:)0
