Making sense of sensors- H7 issues

Hey everyone. I have been using a polar H7 to help quantify my cardio workouts-- I absolutely loved the app polar had but when they updated it in the google play store something happened and it drops signal after only 10 minutes into every workout; this is a very annoying problem. Polar said I cannot download the outdated app even though it worked great.
Since then I have downloaded the digifit app, but the calorie counts from digifit and polar are drastically different. Polar credited on average for the same activities 20-50 calories more, since I had done all the polar assessments I believe this was correct.
Does anyone have any insight on how to get the polar app to work again. I am using a note 3, and until the update I had no issues, I uninstalled, reinstalled, disconnected, reconnected, pulled battery etc. Or even a third party source where I could get the working one

No idea, but realize a 20-50 calorie difference is within the error range of the algorithm used to estimate calories for cardio based on heart rate. Since it translates to what, half a cookie or so, it certainly is not something to get concerned about.0

I understand that but I liked the polar app so much better because of the user interface along with the dashboard online being so much more user friendly. Have you had experience with fixing this? I was hoping someone in the community did because polar said I could not download the previous release.0

My only suggestion is delete the cache and data, uninstall the app, then re-install it. If that doesn't work, you need to wait for an update and hope that fixes the problem. I assume you have e-mailed them that it is losing its connection.
There are a whole host of other apps out there as well that will work with your HRM Strap. You could look around and see if any have a user interface you like.0
