I'm the same height with similar goals, and I USUALLY go over somewhere between 100-200 cals lol it can make you feel like crap , but it really is hardly anything! So don't sweat it! You can always just work to burn those calories off, I just run some more if I feel like eating a little more!

So yeah, I started this thread because I did go over and isn't this the place to go for support? Anywhoo, I'm still trying to get the hang of this thing. So what happens when u do go over? What do u do for the next day? Just wondering. I welcome any tips anyone may have...

As others have already said..... going over by that amount won't even put you over the deficit that MFP set for you. And, the first thing you should do when you go over, is nothing. Eat it, log it, and move on. Anyone, including myself, who has freaked out about going over, and tried to compensate by going way under the next day, will tell you.... it's a slippery slope to Bingeville. Restrict a bit too much for a bit too long, and the next thing you know, your head is buried in a bag of Oreos.

You can just work on fine-tuning things.
