Double whammy dealing

Here I am dealing with the double whammy of diabetes and high blood pressure -- the HBP just sent me to the ER...didn't think HBP had symptoms, but it does, they are not nice.
So, weight loss has been ordered, 50 pounds. Cutting out salt (not that I add salt) has been ordered. Exercise (bleck) has been ordered. Though, admittedly, I get lots of walking and some weight lifting/resistance 'training' at my job. Yoga, in particular, was recommended for stress relief.
Let's get started.

Lots of good advice on the internet about avoiding sodium in foods. I am on a very restricted low sodium plan for the rest of my life. My blood pressure is way down now.
Try walking as a starter if you are not real excited about exercise. One day at a time!!
