Women and swimming

Hi,
at work many of us goes to swim at lunch time. I love it and will start again next week but it does a number on my hairs. I use a cap and rince my hair with water before getting in the pool. I just had to cut 8 inches of hairs because they were damaged and I am really sad about that. Any product that work?
