Fall is here, cooler weather is coming...its Soup time!!

I love soups, always have. Today I am making a nice hearty ground turkey vegetable soup. I am going to share the recipe as its low calorie and diet friendly :D This soup is also very easy to make. If you have any soup recipes that are diet friendly please feel free to share them with me here :D.

Ingredients

2lbs (85%) lean ground turkey
2 (14oz size cans of Vegetable broth)
28 oz water
3 cans carrots and the juice
1 can diced potato
1.5 cups chopped boiled cabbage
1.5 cups steamed green beans
1-2 cloves minced garlic or 1 tsp garlic powder
2 cans stewed diced Italian seasoned tomato
1 can peas and the juice
1 cup boiled and chopped broccoli florettes
1 (12oz) box ABC pasta uncooked
1 good size stock pot
1 frying pan
1(2 qt) pot

Directions

Combine vegetable stock, and water with all of your vegetables and juices from them. add in your garlic (or garlic powder)
In a separate pan fry up your ground turkey until it is fully cooked.
boil your ABC pasta in boiling water with a little salt added until they are tender

Add the ground turkey and ABC pasta into your stock pot with the broth and Vegetables. Let simmer for around 30-45 minutes so the flavors all blend. You can salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
