Fat Loss Question

Hey guys
I know things like this are asked about all the time, but I am going to ask again so that I can use my personal case instead of someone elses.
I haven't been seeing any changes in my fat over the last few weeks and would appreciate any tips or advice on the matter.

Ive been doing cardio 3 - 4 times a week as well and weight lifting/training and have been eating fruits, vegetables, lean meats and complex carbs to meet my nutritional and caloric needs. (Sedentary 1920 - 2500 active according to my nutritionist)
My overall goal has been to lose fat on my chest, thighs and sides, while maintaining my body weight. ( I know it is not possible to target body fat loss, but these arr the areas with the most fat.

Since I started this goal I've lost 1 pound, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad, since I'm trying to lose fat and replace it with heavier muscle. Ive been running and lifting/training for about a month or so, and have had my diet adjusted for a little over a week.

Are there any tips anyone could offer me, or methods of making my approach better? Or am I possibly being impatient, should I just work at it longer to begin seeing results?

All feedback is appreciated. :)

eat at a calorie deficit making sure to weigh and measure your food as accurately as possible, exercise regularly with a decent balance of cardiovascular conditioning and strength training. make sure to get proper rest, and be patient.

Body recomp requires LOTS of patience. It may be a couple of years to see significant results for some.

I can only go by personal experience, with a dash of what Ive read on here and elsewhere to comment, but the areas where you have (or feel you have) the most fat wont necessarily be the areas you will first see results from. It seems to be universal, the areas we choose / prefer to see the fat come off are the last places that actually do it. Crazy right?! So yeah, definitely a matter of patience until your body gets around to reducing those areas.

Like for me, Im pear shaped, the majority of my weight goes to my butt, hips and thighs. Im like, a size M on the top half of my body, and an L/XL on the bottom half. Stands to reason I should be losing inches from my bottom half right? Nope...my arms, chest and waist...the parts of my body that Im totally fine with are getting smaller, and my lower body is still exactly the same measurements...some days I swear my thighs are actually getting bigger! But I know from experience, that eventually my bod will come around.

Im thinking of using some reverse psychology on my body...Im going to start hoping my hips and thighs stay exactly the same and my arms and chest were sooo much smaller. Maybe then my body will change its mind out of rebellion. LoL! *sigh* But yeah, the best approach is to be patient, the longer you keep at it, the more you will start to see results from the parts of your body that you have your eye on.
