40 and needing to lose about 40lb

In October I turned 40.

Much in my life is great - loving wife, two fantastic kids, business I love, good friends...

... my weight, however, is not great.

I know that it's cliched to turn to such things at the beginning of January, but here we are. I only learnt about this site today.
