It's a good plan -- lowish in fats and recommending portion control and daily exercises. Encourages unlimited fruits and vegetables.0

Being a curious person who wants to know and try everything that has to do with diet, I have. I liked their approach. They start by trying to tackle the mental part, motivation, goals.. etc.
It's really not too different from what the general consensus of official media, like eating healthy, whole grains, more vegetables and fruits, the food pyramid, serving sizes, exercising.. etc. I do disagree with some of it (Who the heck eats 1/4 of a candy bar?)
All in all it's a good and to-the-point read if you want to brush up on your general knowledge of portion sizes and the basics of calories, but nothing too different from what you could find on countless free websites.
They do have nice tips and tricks for some situations and a few good recipes, though, and I may use it when I reach maintenance (with a calorie adjustment of course).0
