Has anyone ever had the Synvisc shot in their knee? What type of experience did you have with it? Did it help?

I had this shot in both of my knees about ten years ago. It can be rather painful to get but this shot does relieve a lot of pain. If you are in need of this, I have to assume that you are having quite a lot of mobility difficulties. Go for it!0

I had the older shots some time ago and then the new (3 instead of 5) a couple of years ago. They both worked for me, but I didn't get the relief right away - was disappointed when finishing the series, but it kicked in later. The shots helped so that I could work out more and strengthen them.
Also, I have found that taking calcium/magnesium/vit D and fish oil helped immensely.
Good Luck!0
