What does 2011 mean to you?

Hello everyone! My name is Danita and I have been on this site for about 6 months now. I have lost 29 pounds (I know 29 pounds in 6 months isn't the best...) I still have 76 pounds to go! This is the year I'm going to do it! I have wasted way too much time being overweight and its time for that to change. I have important things coming this year (finally get my braces off, turn 21, graduate in the Fall...) and I am not going to let my weight ruin any of these exciting moments!
Whether you have 5 pounds or 200+ pounds to lose, this is the year we are all gonna make our dreams come true!

Losing 29lbs is still a lot! Good for you!
I too want 2011 to be my year. Enough with the excuses!!0 -
Hopefully by the end of the year I will get rid of the last 1 and half stone, but thats not the half of it.
I'm using this year to get out of looking at the past and dumping alot of bad rubbish (email contacts/mobile contacts getting deleted).
Kinda, cleansing everything0 -
2011 means getting healthier......for me! Not just the weight and exercise but better able to handle my situation physically, mentally and emotionally.0

What does 2011 mean to me? It means if I continue with the lifestyle change I started back in June 2010 that I will continue to feel great by eating healthy and exercising. For me one means nothing without the other. I have the metabolism of a snail and a hormone imbalance that makes losing weight very challenging so if I can do it anyone can do it. All it takes is hard work and commitment. Do it for yourself and make 2011 the best it can be!0

2011 is my year....
It is the year I will reach a healthy BMI and I will be putting myself much higher on my list of priorites
I will take care of myself physically, emotionally and spiritually.0 -
2011 means to me a chance to "finish" my journey and reach my final goal of 140-150lbs....i started on 1/1/08 and right now my goal is to be at 145 by 1/14/12....it has taken me 3 years to lose just over 50lbs but those pounds are GONE forever....i am way fitter and happier and smarter about my food and my exercise choices now that i have ever been....this is the year to fine tune my workouts, RUN a 5k and then a 10k, be smaller than my husband has ever seen me, shop at regular stores and stop buying from plus size stores, see a plastic surgeon to discuss a tummy tuck sometime in the future (after i have finished with the losing)....
this is my year to reach my goal and continue on for the rest of my life with healthy and happy living....0 -

29 pounds in 6 months IS the best!!! That is just over one pound a week and that IS the healthiest way to do it! Slow and steady. That way you can keep it off! You're doing great! Keep it up!0 -
