Was doing really well but remembered why I didn't know any of the answers to the January section of 'The big fat quiz of the year'- my husband walked out on me last january so just ate 1,040 worth of bloody cookies. So annoyed at myself.

Just think how much you lost when he left. What did he weigh? He must've been dragging you down so now he's gone you can pick yourself up and move forward. :) Goodbye stupid man.

Shake it off. One day of giving in isn't going to be your downfall. If you continue on it then I would worry. Get back on track now. Sorry to hear about your husband. You can do this so turn thing around right now and do right by you. I know you can do it.
  • I just ate 10 small reese piece and I do not have a good reason like you do...now I am going to have to log everything in and see what I have to do for damage control. But as long as we rectify it, no big deal. Your going to do great, :D

No need to let this derail you. Try to fit in an extra workout tonight if you can. Eat a healthy veggie-filled dinner and drink lots of water - the cookies likely had a bit of sodium.

Start fresh tomorrow and remind yourself that if the problem isn't hunger, then eating won't solve anything - emotional eating is a problem for MANY people, but it can be overcome. Next time you're tempted to eat when you know you shouldn't, try to find something else to do, or drink some hot tea.
