I was looking for a weight loss site that I could use to track my dieting. I had my quarterly doctor visit as I am a heart patient. I had bypass surgery in 2010 and since then I have ballooned in size. I was about 220 lbs back then (still overweight) and when I went to my doctor I was 246.5. My heaviest weight. As I was also a diabetic and on pills for that as well as cholesterol. My doctor said that if I continued on this path He would have to put me on insulin. I hate needles. So I made my mind up to lose at least 15 lbs before Christmas ( and my next doctor's appointment). So here I am and already have made a good start. Lost 7 from last wednesday. They sat the first 10 is easy. I am hoping to keep it up long after 2 weeks. I created a spreadsheet in Excel to track my weight and exercise time (treadmill ) It helps.

Congrats on 7 lbs already. Thats great. You can easily lose 15 pounds by Christmas. Just focus on eating clean everyday, keep moving at least 30 minutes a day, and you will get there. Stay away from white breads, eat lots of veggies and lean proteins, and plenty of water. At least 1/2 your body weight in ounces a day. sounds like a lot, but your body needs it to stay functioning properly. Throw out the sugars, fatty stuff, and overly processed foods like chips, boxed or frozen meals, etc. Good luck. feel free to reach out to me if I can be of any further help!0

The great thing is the heaver you are generally the easier it is to loose weight because he more you weigh the more you burn just doing normal stuff your RMR...resting metabolic rate is directly proportional to your weight.
If you need any help or support feel free to ask.
It's funny on the injection thing, I used to be like that then back during the H1N1 epidemic then I caught it and it landed me in the in the ICU for a month with a pneumonia that very nearly killed me, induced coma, ventilator the whole nine yards....
I got used to being jabbed though....0
