My recent stages of denial

Stage 1 (occurred about two months ago): "Oh the scale says that because it's 'that time of the month'. No worries.

Stage 2 (occurred about a month ago): "Hmm, pants are kind of tight. I guess they were dried on too high of a setting"

Stage 3/4: "Oh I ate too much bread/I'm retaining water".

Stage 5: "Oh I can't work out I'm too busy. Oh my pants shrunk again.

Stage 6 (Today): "A dryer can't shrink pants 5 times. The scale is not broken. My *kitten* is blobby-ier. My stomach is softer. I've gained weight."

End of story.

The first step to solving a problem is admitting that there is a problem. Great start!
  • For sure. NO more excuses. I realized how silly I was being.

    Must...be....better!

Great job on recognizing the problem. You're gonna be fine. Once you acknowledge denial and triggers, you're on the right path!
