A lot of food

Is it just me or after being on a diet for awhile you accustomed to that calorie intake but the visual still isn't there, so sometimes you eat what you thought was a lot of food but then you look at the calories and are like woahhh it was just that?!

Anybody else experience this?

P.S. Run on sentences are best sentences.

Not really, because I tend to either pre-log or have a rough idea at this point of how many calories almost everything I eat contains, so there are no real big surprises either way.

yeah, I do. I fill the gap with trail mix, yogurt, or fig newtons at the end of the day.

I prelog, and tend to eat a lot of the same things. I fill the gaps with protein shakes and snacks.

Ditto. But yeah sometimes you look at my diary that is so full of stuff, and it's still only 1700 calories total or something...
